As we look toward the summer months, I’m excited to share a snapshot of several major projects underway at Spirit Mountain Casino. These enhancements reflect our continued investment in creating a welcoming, culturally grounded, and memorable experience for our guests—while honoring the rich traditions of our community.
Hotel Lobby Refresh: Elevating the First Impression
Our hotel lobby is undergoing a thoughtful transformation designed to greet guests with a sense of warmth, sophistication, and place. This refresh includes new carpeting, updated flooring, and rich wood finishes throughout the space. A focal point will be the front desk, now set against a striking backlit mountain motif in calming blue tones—echoing the Spirit Mountain landscape and our identity.
Hall of Legends: Honoring Our Story
The Hall of Legends is being reimagined to more fully celebrate the legacy of our tribal families, elders, and leaders. With the addition of high-definition digital monitors, the space will feature rotating tribal photographs, recorded oral histories, and curated displays from our tribal museum. This update will ensure the Hall remains a living, evolving tribute—a place where both community members and visitors can engage with the stories that shape who we are.

Courtyard Experience: A Gathering Place Rooted in Tradition
Between the Hotel and the Event Center, we’re creating an inviting outdoor courtyard that offers flexible gathering spaces and serene moments of reflection. Guests will enjoy comfortable seating under new pergolas, cozy up next to firepits, and experience a designated salmon bake area perfect for special events. At the heart of the courtyard, we are proud to honor Martha Jane Sands with a prominently placed statue, standing as a lasting tribute to her legacy and leadership.
These projects represent more than just physical updates—they reflect our values, vision, and ongoing commitment to excellence. I’m grateful to our team, partners, and community members for helping bring these initiatives to life.
We look forward to welcoming you this summer to see—and feel—the changes for yourself.
